Stella Maris Airport Opens

Stella Maris Airport reopened as a government airport on July 3rd, 2006. The runway has been resurfaced at 4000' long by 75' wide. Bahamas Customs and Immigrations is available. Av-gas and Jet A are available.

Additional upgrades to the airport are planned for the coming year.

The resurfacing of the runway at Stella Maris Airport is complete and awaiting inspection. Inspection is anticipated by the end of this week and announcement of reopening to follow shortly. We'll keep you posted.
